Interpipe paid UAH 4.4bln in taxes and duties in 2023
In 2023, Interpipe, a global producer of steel pipes and railway products based in Ukraine, transferred UAH 4.4bln in taxes to the budgets of all levels and extra-budgetary funds. The volume of tax expenditures increased by 56 percent y-o-y.
Transfers to the state budget amounted to approximately UAH 3.3bln as well as UAH 477mln was paid to the local budgets. Moreover, UAH 558mln were transferred as Single Social Payment (SSP).
Sergiy Kuzmenko, Interpipe’s CFO:
- Last year, Interpipe paid record amounts of taxes to the budgets of all levels notwithstanding the ongoing war, constant shelling of Nikopol, logistical constraints, and the decline in orders from Ukrainian consumers. Nevertheless, the Company keeps operations producing goods with higher added value which provides Ukraine with foreign exchange earnings and thousands of jobs in the frontline region.
